stars rounded up. The first 3rd of the book starts off a 2 star, becomes close to a 5 star, and ends a 3 star. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Wow what a book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter is a cutting-edge self-help memoir written by 50 Cent. For the first time ever, 50 Cent opens up and uses real examples from his life to demonstrate how to apply the lessons learned in your own life. My hope is to see him come full circle in stepping into the full power he has acquired in business within his broken personal relationships. It would be a true demonstration of actualizing acquired knowledge only time can tell. Anywho... there is a lot of truth and tools on this man's tool belt and it would be nice to see more of this side of Curtis. I look forward to his next projects... Lord knows I can't wait for Power Book II !! WHEW!!

Say you, like most people, are afraid of public speaking, but your job frequently requires it. Maybe you find a workaround – such as having a coworker present in meetings – or simply avoid any voluntary public speaking. This book isn’t what I was expecting. Truthfully, I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this. This book is basically a ‘how to.’ 50 explains different lessons he’s learned throughout the years and how he learned them, then gives his advice on how to learn from his mistakes. He’s got good intel and is very suave in his delivery. He’s funny and the stories he tells and the look inside his life he gives you are great. The book summary is written in a clear and concise style, with bullet points, key takeaways, and action steps that make it easy to follow and apply. The book summary also provides some examples, stories, and quotes from the original book that illustrate the concepts and strategies. The book summary is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to hustle harder and smarter in life and work, from aspiring entrepreneurs and artists to established professionals and leaders. Man sollte einfach anfangen; sog. "Gatekeeper" (Menschen oder Institutionen, die dich von Ressourcen abhalten, also bspw. früher ein Musikstudio) gibt es immer weniger (Bsp. heute kann man einfach am Computer einen Song aufnehmen und auf YouTube veröffentlichen). Praktika (damit sind auch Dinge gemeint, die eigentlich nicht als Praktikum bezeichnet werden können), wo Erfahrung gesammelt werden kann, sind unbezahlbar. So first ask yourself, What am I afraid of? Then ask whether the risks of confronting your fear are more important than the potential upside. Chances are, if you’re honest with yourself, you’ll find that the risks are worth it. Moving past fear Actually making the movie is the most important thing to a studio- or even an employer- just “do shit” These days internships seem to get a bad rap. Many young people complain internship as exploitative. Some even want to make unpaid internships illegal.

Avoid the entitlement trap! - you’ll never find success until you take full responsibility for what happens in your life People like to say I’m a bully, but I have zero problem poking fun at myself if it helps build buzz. An actual bully doesn’t possess that sort of self-awareness. Their skins are way too thin to post those sorts of pictures of themselves. But I’m not moving off emotion. My skin is tough enough to do whatever it takes to keep my brand poppin! I earlier read the 50th Law with Robert Greene and it was such a great read. His New book: Hustle Harder Hustle Smarter chronicles his journey, his thought process, and his re-invention strategies. He gives some very great insights that are very practical and straight to the point, some surprising facts like befriending authors such as Robert Greene who he co-authored 50th Law with and Deepak Chopra. How he transitioned from the music business to the Television show business, the book reads like an autobiography/self help nugget book but lots of great content. If you want to be a writer, you have to take notes on every author you read. If you want to be a chef, every time you eat a meal at a restaurant, you have to be thinking about how your competition works with flavors, texture, presentation, and ingredients. If you want to be an ad executive, you just can’t walk past a poster on the subway platform. You have to study every poster, supermarket sales display, and bus wrap that you see and make note of what’s catching your attention and what doesn’t hold your eye. The book summary aims to provide the main ideas and insights from the original book in a shorter and simpler format. The book summary covers the following topics: I didn’t hate this book. I didn’t love it. I think it’s interesting but I don’t think I’ll ever read it again, and I’m definitely glad I don’t own it.

Focus on the potential not the payday- Long term view- example gillie not signing a career making move because he wanted a million up front Cent is one of my favorite entertainers, although he can be controversial there is a method to his madness. He is relentless and always gets things done and that is what matters in the end: RESULTS. When people don’t respond to what you give them, they’re telling you they’ve moved on, loud and clear. If you don’t hear them, then you’re just not listening.” he wrote. “If one generation knew me as a rapper, there’s going to be another that knows me as a TV mogul. But only because I was willing to change with the times and audience.” Give yourself the opportunity to identify something different. You’re going to find things you think you can’t live without are actually standing between current you and the best you. When you break those habits, you’ll be surprised by how much more you can accomplish in life and put everything you have into your work. Die meisten Menschen wollen nicht wirklich Freiheit, denn zur Freiheit gehört auch Verantwortung." - Sigmund FreudSure, you’ve found a safe, comfortable way of existing. But you won’t advance, and people who are less qualified than you may get promoted faster because of their willingness to do what you’re too afraid to confront. At the end of the day, you can bet on a lot of games, ideas and even people. But the only sure thing you can always count on 100 percent of the time is ‘yourself.’ Honda quote- many people dream of success. To me, success can be achieved only through repeated failure and introspection It’s a level of self-awareness and honesty that many hip hop artists wouldn’t show in public. 50 even opens up about his damaged relationship with his first son and his son’s mother. A topic that can’t have been easy to write about.
