So, don't expect to get it right first time - I use uv lamps, gels, tips from time to time but my first one of these was rubbish. Watched a couple of YouTube videos which helped and the pics are of my 2nd attempt. Quite like the glitter gel, only problem is when you file the edges, those edges end up glitter-less. I used the smallest amount hence the uneven colour but I made it long just to see how strong it was and it’s very strong. ( I used yellow first as it’s the least colour I’d use so I used it to practice) LONG-LASTING TIPS】 -- Phoenixy Poly nail gel will last up to 2 weeks or longer with proper nail prep, use a nail file/nail buffer (before base coat) to ensure your nails are completely dry, clean and oil-free. Overall: First attempt was complete failure. The gel was squeezed out by the clips and left edge build up under nail and all round form edges. When removing them with the peel-away, did not apply enough and struggled to remove. Second attempt as photos. Much better but not so perfect as salon nails. I will improve the more I do this.

Everyone had asked me about poly gel. I thought I’d give it a try. After 3 botched attempts I’m still unsure. What You Get - 15ml 6 colours poly nail gel set, 10ml base and top coat, 1x 30ml slip solution , 1x 50pcs poly nail dual forms (10 sizes), 1x dual-ended nail brush and spatula, 2x nail files, 2x nail art wire decoration, 5x poly nail clips. Saving your money and time with phoenixy nail extension gel kit! Lamp: perfect, nails set just fine, though I was careful to only use a petite size pea or a little bigger on larger nails. If you overload the forms, things get messy.

Nail clips: they are strong, too strong, and when curing, carried on squeezing the resin out, which made a mess on my first attempt. Solution: push the form onto the nail. Be firm. Remove with brush&slip solution. Put clip on nail (half on nail, half on finger below cuticle). Remove more excess resin, then smooth underneath the nail(be firm). Cure for30-second. Remove clip, using brush and fluid, remove anymore resin, do under nail, then cure for 120 seconds. Came out great. Pros: the colours you get are good! When it’s set with a UV light it has potential to be good. There’s no toxic smell. This would be a great first kit if you’re willing to persist. Professional Use - You also can mix your own beautiful decorations: shimmering powder, rhinestone, gem, mirror powder, dried flower, nail foil, etc. Great for both professional nail salon and nail artist! I have no experience doing nails so I was pleasantly surprised at how I was able to do my own nails using this product. I did not try the slip solution but instead got 99.9% alcohol to use as my slip solution. Asides that, everything else I used was from what was provided in the box. I did not attempt to do extensions as my nails are already quite long. I basically just used the poly gel to wrap my nails and act as an extra strengthening layer. Forms. Did not like them, thin, flimsy, they are all mixed together in a pouch so hard to sort out sizes. When used, so smal, hard to hold. Bought new forms Makartt Dual Forms, much better.
