Crisp, clean and so bitingly cold that it makes you clench your teeth, the smell of snow is one of the best things about winter. The wet, slushy stuff may not be much fun, but there’s just something about its fresh, cold scent that makes us turn our faces to the sky and sniff at the air.

Rich and creamy, with a hit of nutmeg, eggnog is the quintessential holiday drink. And while its rich flavor may be enjoyed by adults and children alike, the scent of eggnog really gets people in the holiday spirit. 15. Red Current Christmas Time Scents – Red Current The Douglas fir is better known for its use as timber than a Christmas tree, but that doesn’t mean to say it doesn’t have good qualities that make it a worthy contender. The Douglas fir can grow up to 100m, so it’ll suit a large, double-height ceiling entryway or large home and has a pleasant orangey aroma. Unfortunately, however, this tree isn’t the best choice if you have lots of heavy ornaments, as its branches tend to be a little flimsy. Pine Trees

For those of you who haven’t yet made the Young Living choice, (um what’s your hold up? Just kidding, well not really. you need to sign up with me so we can be EO besties!) If I was to try and recreate what I think is one of Young Living's best essential oil combinations for Christmas I’d probably start my DIY essential Oil blend to fit in a 5ml bottle. A 5ml bottle holds approximately 100 drops which this recipe is about ½ of. One of the easiest ways to help create that lovely tree smells is to use essential oils. There are many essential oils derived from trees and you can diffuse, create a mist for your tree or even add them to your tree ornaments. I highly recommend essential oils over the chemical sprays, plug-ins and perfume scented products to reduce the toxicity level in your home.

I opted for the pre-lit design because I was fed up with unravelling fairy lights from the box and wrapping them around the tree. It comes with 650 bulbs (I went for ‘Candlelight Clear’ for a more realistic option) and as soon as you plug it all together, it instantly lights up: unbelievably satisfying.Spruce trees are a long-standing tradition at Christmas, having been placed in homes at Christmas time since the 16th century. We tend to love them for their dense branches, producing a pleasing shape, and their foliage’s rich green colour. They’re also widely available, which certainly helps! 1. Norway Spruce (Picea abies) Funny Secret Santa Gift, Rude Christmas Gifts, For Work Colleagues, Xmas Present, Christmas Tree Decoration, Santa Ornament, Custom Name What is it about the scent of a pomegranate that is so intoxicating? It’s one of the season’s most popular Christmas scents and flavors. Is it the sweet, fruity aroma? A hint of citrus? The floral notes?

Christmas is a time of celebration and joy. What better way to enhance the experience than by enjoying Christmas scents?Christmas Tree - get ready for Christmas by filling your home with the unmistakable scent of a real Christmas tree! The Eastern white pine tree is most unique, with long, thin needles that grow in bunches and can reach up to five inches in length. Branches from the Eastern white pine are often used in garlands, wreaths, and centerpieces, due to their long, feathery appearance. The branches of the Eastern white pine are not as sturdy as those of its other Christmas tree counterparts. So, use lightweight garlands, paper chains, or felt ornaments if you choose this beautiful tree as your holiday decoration.

Y’all I need easy and fast. But I want them cute and it has to be something people will actually want to use. These used to be popular Christmas trees, but their popularity has declined in recent years, perhaps as their highly individual appearance has fallen out of style. Nevertheless, if you have lots of heavy ornaments and a big space for your tree, the Austrian pine is an option. 15. Lodgepole Pine (Pinus contorta) Many people choose the Christmas tree to put in their homes because the tree is the best Christmas tree for scent. With the most popular trees being Fir, Spruce, and Pine Enchanted Forest | Scented Soy Candle | Fraser Fir, Balsam, Amber | 9 oz candle | Holiday Gift | Fairy | Winter | Vintage Christmas DecorThere’s nothing like the sweet, comforting scent of hot chocolate to warm the bones on a cold day. The deliciously chocolatey smell of it is like a snuggly blanket for your senses – it’s bound to cheer up even the grumpiest Grinch. Why not add more Christmassy flavour by adding cloves and oranges to your hot chocolate! 4. Gingerbread When you think of Christmas, which comes to mind first? The Scents of Christmas or the Sights and Sounds of Christmas? While I was at it, I would walk around the house with a Christmas room spray I had bought from the mall and spray the air.
