About this deal

The remote is a similar effort to previous and a slight improvement as it doesn’t attempt to cram as many buttons into a small space. Features Watching the BBC news in Full HD, the close-ups of the in-studio correspondents are good, there’s reasonable upscaled skin detail and colour balance and vibrancy throughout the picture remains strong. The Hisense 55A7GQTUK QLED Series TV is compatible with various devices, making it easy to stream content from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The TV supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect wirelessly to other devices. The TV also supports screen mirroring, allowing you to mirror the screen of your smartphone or tablet on the TV. Smart Features

AVForums Hisense U7QF (55U7QFTUK) 4K ULED TV Review | AVForums

The video processing in the Hisense U7QF is powered by the Hi-View Engine which helps with motion and scaling of images. We found the upscaling to be good with only the odd instance of ringing around fine lines in some test patterns, but this was not visible in the vast majority of HD content we viewed. Unfortunately, there’s also a loss in terms of colour depth and accuracy. The crash scene on Xandar at the end of the film is a good place to spot this. The three way close-ups between the blue-faced Yondu, green-skinned Gamora and Peter Quill’s human complexion are off the mark. The balance between them is even but each feels slightly off the hue that they should be. There are even some gamer-friendly features such as a 60Hz refresh rate, although there aren't any HDMI 2.1 ports here. The best soundbars for small TVs can bring you big sound from a compact unit and make speech clearer The Hisense U8GQ is the company’s top-of-the-line LED LCD set. It replaces the U8QF from last year, carrying the same design and several of the same features, too. The A7G is also a QLED TV with Quantum Dot technology built into the panel to give purer looking colours, although it doesn’t quite reach the full width of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for HDR, instead Hisense states 90% coverage. Other features include an AI picture processor for upscaling, and Dolby Atmos support for immersive audio is also built-in though the TV obviously only has two speakers. HDR support is rather impressive for a more affordable TV (all the main formats are listed) and there’s HDMI 2.1 support with eARC, ALLM and VRR available across the three HDMI inputs (eARC on HDMI 2).

In 2021 Hisense launched its first Mini-LED display in the U9GQ. That has now been followed up with the 2022 flagship U8HQ model. The Staten Island Ferry scene shows that this Hisense has a good handle on colour. The blue sky, the yellow ferry and the red of Spider-man’s suit are all vibrant and well-matched. Looking to the clouds or the dark hull of the ferry, and it’s not too crude with HDR and contrast either.
