Yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds, but the skills are a lot of fun, and make each match feel a bit different depending on who you choose to play as. The best of the best from the AEW talent roster means players can look forward to playing as some of the most legendary wrestlers to enter the ring plus all-new, high-flying AEW talent! AEW: Fight Forever combine nostalgic, arcade-wrestler feel with innovative AEW finishers and tandem offense moves! For years now WWE have dominated the wrestling gaming market, with only the Fire Pro series putting out a mainstream offering to rival them in the last decade or more. In fact, not since TNA Impact in 2008 has a rival promotion launched a console game, and the less said about that the better given its pallid reception. But then in November of 2020 All Elite Wrestling announced they would be dipping their toes into the market, and just two and a half short years later we got AEW: Fight Forever.

Road To Elite Career Mode:A deep career mode that highlights the fun and personality of an All Elite Wrestler’s life on the road. Players can create and develop their own wrestler who joins the AEW roster and appears in matches and stories over an event schedule. Points are earned by winning matches and fulfilling certain objectives which can then be used to enhance their wrestler’s stats. AEW Fight Forever will come with an extensive roster of All Elite Wrestling Superstars, both male, and female, as well as some of the biggest legends to enter the ring. Arenas look OK, and with 7 different locations to choose from almost all of AEW’s sets are represented (Forbidden Door being the most glaring omission.)There are also some pretty bold choices when it comes to controls, too. Certain wrestlers have skills that change up the way they fight, allowing them to do things others aren’t able to. Recognized for its retro approach to design including hand-crafted animations and nostalgic arcade feel, AEW: Fight Forever presents wrestling fans with their first chance to pull off wrestling moves only seen on the wildly popular AEW programming. Online cooperative wrestling is going completely next level with Tag-Team matches that feature sequences of team maneuvers performed with simple commands. A long roster of the most popular AEW wrestlers, career mode, wrestler customization, signature AEW arenas, multiple match types, and even some good ol’ fashioned unsanctioned fun await!

The Elite Edition of AEW Fight Forever will come with a 24 hours EarlyAccess, making the game available June 28. The Early Access of the Elite Edition is available for the consolesonly. AEW Fight Forever Game Features Official Game Info Match types: Single, Tag-Team, 3-way, 4-way, Ladder, CasinoBattle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights Out, Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch There’s some good stuff here, and although things can get a bit repetitive it’s a solid foundation should AEW follow up with another game. Although other titles may have taken this to the extreme, none encapsulated this fun arcade style more than WWF No Mercy for the N64, which many STILL claim to be the best wrestling game ever, over 20 years after it came out.

AEW is a bit thin on the ground when it comes to creation options. Players can create wrestlers, teams and arenas.

AEW Fight Forever, the AEW Console Game developedby Yuke's, will release on June 29, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. AEW Fight Forever Early Access Yuke's and AEW have joined forces in a historic partnership, that not only sees AEW competing against WWE, but also sees Yuke's competing against WWE 2K23and their former WWE license, still owned by 2K Sports. What it DID have, was a great control scheme, fun gameplay, a stellar roster of wrestlers and an engaging career mode. …But Does it Feel Right? There have mixed reports about the development process for the game, which is supposed to focus on gameplay over an excess of features. You can see some footage here. The following is the list of confirmed features we've gathered from official sources and various interviews:

There currently isn’t a way to share your creations with others online, so if you want to make CAWs of all the guys missing from the roster… you’re going to have to go old-school and find some guides on the net. Road To Elite Onlinecooperative multiplayer, with Tag team matches featuring a sequence of team maneuvers performed with simple commands. Picture Fortnite, but with the roster of AEW, fighting it out in various parts of a football stadium.

WWE’s recent mainline offerings have become simulations, where players can put on well-paced bouts that wouldn’t look out of place on TV. But wrestling games didn’t used to be that way, in fact during their heyday they were far more ridiculous… but in a good way. The mode then consists of 4 ‘chunks’ of time, and in each ‘chunk’ there are 3 possible storylines to embark on. Which path you go down depends on how you handled something in the previous section, and also the gender you’re playing as. Online cooperative wrestling is going completely next level in Fight Forever with Tag Team matches that feature sequences of team maneuvers performed with simple commands. A deep career mode, wrestler customization, signature AEW arenas, multiple match types, and more match types than you can count, including some good ol’ fashioned, unsanctioned fun, all await!
