The height of the top wire is 107cm (including post's metal tread-in spike) - or 90 cm from the foot of the post I connect the Smart Fence to our permeant electric fence with jumper cables (for electric fences). Then the portable electric fence is powered from the energizer in our barn. Our courier will send you a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery and you have the option to change this if required at no extra charge or you can also let the courier know that you want the parcel left in a safe place.

Connect the fence to a portable electric fence energizer, either solar powered or powered with a deep cycle battery. The SmartFence is recommended for use with animals already trained to electric fencing (or trained to the Smart Fence or SmartFence 2)
The smart fence is one of our most requested items. we sell more of these than most other gallagher dealers. These work great for any fencing need you have. We have sold these to people who have lost fence from traffic accidents, where drivers plow down a fence... and keep on going... it works great until that repair can be made. A unique aspect of i-series energisers is the external display - which shows all of your fence information (e.g. voltage, faults and fault location) in a convenient location up to *50 metres from the energiser. *(3m wire included) The energiser can also be operated and turned on/off from the external display and you get immediate notification of power loss e.g if a branch has fallen onto the fence or a wire has been cut.
