While the Youth to The People Cleanser sounds amazing in theory, keep in mind that this is a rinse-off product. That means the antioxidants in these superfood extracts really can’t provide protection against environmental free radicals if they are being washed off of your face! The true key ingredients in the Youth to The People Cleanser are coconut-derived surfactants, which help to remove excess oil, makeup, dirt, and other impurities. One of my favorite things I discovered during this Youth to the People skincare review? 100% of the brand’s ingredients are vegan. How do you use Youth to the People? The most buzzed-about product by this brand is definitely the Youth to The People Superfood Cleanser. They call it a “green juice cleanse for your face” because of the inclusion of superfoods like kale, spinach, green tea, and alfalfa. Kale is rich in skin-loving phytonutrients and vitamins C, E, and K. Spinach has the ability to soothe the skin while adding hydration. I am normally not a big fan of clay masks, because they tend to dry out my skin but the Youth to the People clay mask is fantastic. My skin feels ultra clean and baby soft and smooth after use. But we don’t stop there: We also regularly re-review the categories in which we’ve awarded the PEOPLE Tested seal of approval — because the best product of today might not be the best of tomorrow. And by the way, companies can never buy our recommendation: Their products must earn it, fair and square.
The Youth to The People vitamin C serum offers a 15% blend of three vitamin C derivatives (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate). The formula also includes plant-derived caffeine from superleafs yerba mate and guayusa to immediately brighten, enhance circulation, and visibly reduce morning puffiness. The scent is a jasmine scent that isn’t overpowering, and with some water, the Super berry Dream Cleansing Balm turns into a milk-like consistency and washes off sunscreen and make up effectively. It also comes in a very large jar so provides great value for money. As someone who double cleanses every night, I’m always in need of a good cleansing balm and so far I’ve really been enjoying this one. According to the brand, this mask was designed to leave skin looking renewed and radiant. We didn’t notice much improvement in terms of texture or glow. That said, the hydration this delivers is so powerful, we’ll definitely reach for it whenever we start feeling dry.

Our only gripe is that it doesn't come with an applicator tool, which would make it easier to extract as much product as possible.
