You are so beautiful,” I say, unable to shed the awe in my voice. I hear it, the childish wonder in my tone, and it embarrasses me more than it should. I know I shouldn’t be ashamed to feel deeply. To be moved. Well sweetheart, so did everone else in this series even your precious Warner, but you dont see them cower in the corner refusing to participate! Kenji is perfect, he provides a great comedic relief. Juliette’s and his relationship was well needed for the story and i appreciate their relationship growing over time.

The story is about 17 year old Juliette Ferrars who has a lethal touch. Anything living she touches dies. Side books showcasing events from male leads POV was quite a nice too. Although I must say I enjoyed Warner's one more than Adam's - simply because of my fangirl leanings. Hur. What can I say? I like the bad/misunderstood angsty trope.

The same can be said of Find Me. It contains both Shadow Me and Reveal Me (also listed separately above), the two later novellas. Is Shatter Me Spicy?

From the magnetic pull of its intricate characters to the compelling narrative full of twists and turns, this series delivers on all fronts. It speaks to the human experience — the struggles, triumphs, love and heartbreak — making it deeply relatable, even amidst the dystopian setting and superhuman abilities. Shadow Me: Kenji's perspective. The everything-is-cheerful-when-he's-around guy of the series.. has a dark secret? Troubled, and rightfully so, youth are drawn together by unseen forces finding relationships of all kinds through each other. Father figures and little brothers tugging at heart strings you didn't know you had. The war between truth and reality you will have with yourself will be taxing.Destroy Me: 2 stelle (anche se non troppo registrato, Warner rimane sempre il personaggio più interessante di questa serie)

Adam has the personality of a potato. An especially bland potato. He is boring and dull and all he has going for him is his ridiculous insta-love for Juliette. I HATE INSTA-LOVE. They tried to play it off as childhood sweethearts but seriously she let someone cheat off her when she was nine and suddenly Adam thinks she’s gods gift. He treats her like some kind sweet innocent little flower that he needs to protect. She’s a kind person, that doesn’t make her an endangered species Adam, jeez. Juliette is tough under all her whining, anyone could see that. She needs to be pushed and challenged to wake up the real Juliette inside, not coddled. The second book drags. The characters seem much more focused on challenges in their love life than the war (though at least they are self aware of this fact). And the books feels whiny at times. The poor characterization in book 2 does allow for better plot and character development later through the series. Juliette, the main character throughout, is a strong compassionate and full force of a female character. She fights with her emotions and her mentality thinking that she is what everyone's called her her entire life. A monster. Except for one person, Adam Kent, who didn't believe this to be true. I assumed, when she invited me into this dressing room, that it was for reasons beyond me staring at the color variations in an unusually white wall. I assumed she wanted me here to see something.Julitte Ferrars had a long way to go before she found herself. Happinessn included. A young girl started in the asylum, where she was held hostage for a long time. She found love, a reason to fight and a purpose. But then everything got twisted. Her whole world was upside down. She was forced to see the situation from a different angle. She was forced to step out of her comfort zone and had to trust people she wasn't willing to open up to. The happiness she thought she had was taken from her mind. New people came into her life, new goals to pursue, and a whole new reason to live. Juliette Ferrars is a brave and intelligent woman who has had to come to terms with her life. A life that doesn't always seems the way it is.
