The forefoot fit is similar in size 9.5 for Horizon and size 10 in 860 (slight pinch for me with snug laces, before an extended break-in), and the heel fits tighter in Horizon, given that I can get by wearing a half size smaller in Horizon than 860. Bonus! Okay, I said three things, but here’s one more: The upper is lovely. It’s flexible, comfortable and breathable. The tongue has cushion in it, which is nice, and the overall fit felt just right. How Does the 860v10 Fit
The post is much firmer than the surrounding foam to account for excess pronation. The firmer foam compresses less under your weight, making it more durable. Over time, that durability keeps your shoe flat rather than wearing down prematurely under the inside of your foot. The only problem with this shoe was with the fit. Wider-footed runners loved the room in the toebox, but lamented that the redesigned heel cup was too snug and rubbed after a few miles. For narrower footed runners the reverse was the case. It’s definitely worth popping to your local speciality running store and slipping a pair on to make sure you have no such issues. Conclusion

The heel cup held my ankle securely in place when running. I don’t have ankle issues, but I’d imagine that this feature would be a dream for runners that do.
