Very glad that I did, as I've now added a new artist to my list of favorites for the first time in a couple of years. It's too easy to sit around and lament how music isn't as good as it used to be, but this is an album that elicits the perpendicular: that great artists make great art and that when you hear something like this, you're no longer thinking about the past, but making new memories in the present, and being inspired for the future.

i can see many reasons why this techno-repressed generation might dislike this performer, so let's not mess about. I kept seeing this album on best-of lists and after reading some good things, finally gave it a try.LP1' is FKA twigs defining artistic statement to date, building on the success of her two previous EPs and accompanying videos (‘EP1’ and ‘EP2’) which have elevated FKA twigs from a word-of-mouth secret to global obsession over the past two years. Meiner Ansicht nach eine wertvolle Botschaft in diesen doch stark durch ,,Selbstoptimierung“ geprägten Zeiten. On first listen this full length album somehow initially feels to come up short against it, but with time and replays it somewhat outdoes what has gone before.

In my opinion there is not a bad track on the album and the stand out tracks are "Two Weeks" "Pendulum" "Video Girl" and "Give Up".
