About this deal

Well it has a red and white battery box, and what appears to be a red and white IR receiver at the back.

To make your hunt for led light kit easier, utilize the multiple filters to narrow down your selection. I'm American and it's obviously European but I've spent some time 'on the Continent' and have been to many rail museums there. This new set features action bricks that bring life to the train and encourages early coding and learning colors, while the companion app promises fun activities to complete, bridging both physical and digital play.

I'm pretty sure the locomotive is modelled on the NS class 6400 produced for the Dutch state owned railway in the late 80s and early 90s.

The lego city red train set can be assembled and disassembled by itself, or you may need to create a bigger vehicle for your children. Whether they actually go onto the flatbeds or just drive along behind, get hitched up and towed or what I don't know. This set featured an 8-channel, 7-speed infrared remote control to power the train, allowing it to zoom around the tracks. Not so keen on the tipper wagon or the conveyor thing, it could have been so much better but I guess they were confined by the bit count / cost of the set. This set was released in 2010 and is now retired since 2014, making it a rare find for LEGO collectors.

With level crossings, stops, switches and a combination of curved and straight track pieces there is so much they can do! It's a pity however that the designer did not prepare it for PF lights (unlike 7939 Cargo Train) although there is more than enough room. Refuel the Train with the Blue Action Brick Placing the action bricks on the track allows you to decide which actions the train takes when it passes over them.
