Rich notes of cinnamon, vanilla, oak, and butterscotch coat the palate before culminating in a long, warmly spiced finish. The vanilla overtones are dominant and maybe a bit overpowering which exhibits a sweetness that is even hard to add a mixer.

The Bumbu XO Rum is perfect for traditional rum cocktails or even better, on its own; neat, or with a single ice cube. Bumbu is blended with some of the world's purest water and aged in oak barrels to create a fine rum with a taste as complex as the brand's rich history. Yes banana and toffee, I didn't know I was a banana fan, especially not in drinks, but this stuff is heaven.
