About this deal

Sea Monkeys have made a come back recently, as Aqua Dragons – which are essentially the same thing but re-branded for a new audience. Next, they added in the brine shrimp, with Robin convinced they were eggs instead of shrimp that would activate in water due to science. caring for your aqua dragons you will see them eat, play, grow and learn about the differences between males and females and even how they reproduce.

The sets are aimed at children aged 6 and if they are going to care for them by them selves but I think that younger ones will still enjoy setting up their habitat if they have some help, our two year old loved it. From the crustacea family, Aqua Dragons look like tiny three-eyed, long-tailed, hairy-headed dragons that grow up to 2cm long.

Other than that, and sometimes using the provided droplet to add a bit of air into the bottom of their tank, they are super easy to care about pets!

The Underwater World contains everything you need to get started including the aquarium, preserved eggs, food, pipette, feeding spoon and full instructions.aqua dragons eggs can be preserved in salt for long periods of time and hatched again once introduced into water! After 2 weeks we have around 20-30 swimming around but they are still small for now and look a little like I would expect nits too rather than dragons. It is a long process for kids to understand but I think it is good for them to get to grips with looking after a pet. Great gift choice for the auntie (or Uncle) who’s not sure what their nephews and nieces are playing with - I’ve not got it wrong yet ? Caring for your Aqua Dragons you will see them eat, play, grow and learn about the differences between males and females and even how they reproduce.
