And talk about the performance, it's a beast, the projection is loud, the longevity is long lasting, on my clothes i get 12+ hours longevity, on my skin i get about 6-7 hours and 2-3 hours of strong projection. And the only negative from Afnan 9pm is the versatility, it's a very night/winter/spring fragrance, i think it gets cloying if you used it under the heat.

I guess I'll leave it in the shelf for couple of months or so and see if anything changes for the better.And when it hits the dry down, the smell is getting warm and sweet, the vanilla and the tonka beans smells really good combined. The vanilla is prevalent in this one but it's just super smooth and not overbearing at all, its also pretty long lasting, i still smelled it on my shirt that i wore a day ago. Despite the description of cinnamon and semi-cotton candy, this doesn't smell feminine to me, as the bergamot and lavender balance things out to gives it a straight forward masculine scent. i got my second bottle about 2 months ago and it smelled just as amazing but didn't perform, so i just forgot about it for a while and sprayed it on today. I got a new 12/2021 batch bottle and it performers very poorly , projects for an hour and completely vanishes in 3 hours.Particularly suited for teenagers, my blind purchase turned out to be satisfying, though a cautious application approach is advised to avoid overwhelming those around you. If you are under 25, you might go nuts over this and i see great compliment pulling potential with this one. This could work during cooler summer nights, but I can't see this being pleasant during hot summer days as it's too sweet for that. Personally, I’d like it to have a little more spice aside of all that vanilla, but listen, people LOVE this scent on me, nothing but compliments.

Smells very good, not overly sweet in my opinion although one of my friends thinks it is amazing with 3 or 4 sprays anything more will become overly sweet and annoying. i have worn it out and i enjoyed it, its not repulsive or anything, but not once have i reached for it first in the ~1/2 year ive been testing it. I do enjoy sweet fragrances tho and tonka isn't a note that irked me in other fragrances that heavily feature it. Top notes are Raspberry, Apple, Violet and Orange; middle notes are Rose, Iris, Peony and Jasmine; base notes are Cypress, Pine, Cedar and Amber.
The fresh notes of bergamot and cinnamon transform into orange blossoms growing warm with amber, vanilla, and patchouli. I own 1 million Elixir, and that one is really really sweet as well but it never gave me a headache.
