About this deal

Of interest is his take on the relation between non-fallen Nature, Mary, Sophia, the Virgin, being Chaste and his views on the notion of the holy trinity illuminated by this fourth element.

A must-have for any of a Christian background who might be looking for the connection between the Tarot and the faith you grew up in. It’s meant for heavy-duty book study, the kind that requires frequent trips to the library over a period of months or even years. This deck is one of the few that easily reveals the planetary influences at work in a matter, or the overall spread and thus lends itself to shades of meaning relevant to the seeker's own elemental nature and birth sign. Not surprisingly, as time went on and new members copied decks based upon previously drawn cards, the variances and modifications grew more and more pronounced. It can also represent the three parts of the Freudian psychic apparatus, the ego, superego, and the id. With constant referrals to SEPHIRAH on the Tree of Life, this booklet makes it clear that the study of Tarot is a deeply spiritual process. Hall's masterpiece, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages," is one of the few authoritative books on spirituality and occult wisdom that I have ever encountered.

The entire world is suffering from trauma based mind control and you can easily see the victims, all of humanity.Much of the wonder I experience while studying this book is due to the unusual truth-telling, truth from an era when the Great Chain of Being had not yet got a stake through its heart, courtesy of the scientific revolution. You can ruminate over the three drawn cards in solitude and use them to think on the problem at hand. It is a series of epistles; it is spiritual encouragement; it is an encyclopedic tome of spiritual and magical matters; it is a profound critique of life and magic and the human being; it is one of my holy books. When I took the time to really listen to them – when I was ready to hear them – I actually adored their musical talent and wise words (FYI – they are about WAY more than fighting for your right to party).

I think Hans Urs von Balthasar (who wrote the afterw0rd) was right when he said the aim of the book was a synthesis of all Jewish, Eastern, and Pagan wisdom without the expense of his Christian faith. E. Waite and Blackden joined forces to retain the name Isis-Urania, while Felkin and other London members formed the Stella Matutina. For instance, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in Christianity; the Triple Goddess in Neopaganism; or the three promises of a relationship: love, honor, and protection in the Irish tradition. But not only this, he has given us a compendium of psychology, sociology, politics, theology, philosophy and hermeticism that could offer the new millennium – in all its potential horror – the wisest of guides. I bought these for my missus as an alternate deck to her Thoth deck and she says they complement each other wonderfully. When I got it and started sifting through the cards to connect with the deck… well, let’s just say I wasn’t very impressed. My main recommendation once you put down the book would be to look further into the works of Bergson, as he ended up being quite the influential figure for certain Continental philosophers (especially my all-time favorite, Gilles Deleuze).
