This printer model fits a specific budget and usage requirements, the unit build is reasonable and with care should last long time. The extended catch fro prints is wee bit light but again for the price range and with care works. In Windows®, the Brother printer or scanner driver windows are in a foreign language. How can I change the printer or scannerdriver windows to be in a local language? I cannot print or scan via USB on Debian 11 or later,Ubuntu 20.04 or laterand ontheir derivatives (Linux)

I cannot repair the wired or wireless connection using the Network Connection Repair Tool (Windows) The scan key does not work after reconnecting the USB cable or rebooting my machine (openSUSE 11.4) (Linux) The network scanning feature does not work when pressing the scan key onmy Brother machinecontrol panel. (For Windows) My documents are not feeding through the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) when I try to send a fax, scan to the PC, or make a copy. Scanning (TWAIN drivers) worked well , shame no duplex, perhaps i have yet to discover how duplex scanning works. For duplex scans i manually return paper to scan second side at present.Scans acceptable quality and speed and saved to PDF.. However duplex printing is available and works well, with multiple modes , booklet single sided etc. Prints in both mono and colour benefit from range of eco, normal,high or best final quality prints.
