Let’s say, you want to wake up at 6:00 AM every day, so to do that, you have to go to sleep at 10:00 PM. This way, you won’t feel tired all day but if you go to sleep at 2:00 AM then you won’t be waking up at 6:00 and even if you do, your day will get ruined. We expel enormous amounts of energy trying to appeal to the wants and desires of other people, and in attempted control of circumstances. This never works out and it can not be done. The only original thing in the book, is the least interesting stuff “His failures and confusions in life and career” sprinkled in between. You’ve got just one life. Don’t live it being one person. You can be whoever you want and have as many identities as you can.
