To cut costs, many sheets on the market are produced using short-staple cottons, or cotton blends. The price of these sheets may look attractive, but what the consumer gets in the end is a sheet that is not as comfortable, has a shorter lifespan, and overall just not the quality of sheets we think you should own. There are two broad groups of cotton; long staple cotton and shorter staple cotton, also known as Upland cotton.
