Mrs. Pepperpot ( Norwegian: Teskjekjerringa, translation: the teaspoon lady) is a fictional character in a series of children's books created by the Norwegian author Alf Prøysen. The first book in the series was printed in 1956 in Sweden and in Norway from 1957. I loved the Mrs Pepperpot books as a young girl and I have read them to both my sons.
